This piece was built for a den, a cozy and quiet room. Lots of storage for books, and other items in the cupboards below. The bench seat has a lifting lid to provide extra storage. The beautiful cherry wood was simply finished with tung oil (Waterlox). No stain..the cherry is perfect without, and will mellow and improve with age.
